Very good points and you are right with the difference in responsibilities being a single man. I have to make sure my kids and husband are fed and it is hard not to sit down with them and eat as well, although I'm sure it could be done. Don't you find that the night shift "in general" are more overweight than the day shift? I know there are some overweight people on days but I would venture to guess that more night shift employees are overweight than day shift people.

It's only me and the hubby so I do basically the same thing. I wake up when I'm not doing any over tiem at about 9p...then I have "breakfast" around 10pm....a snack around 12:30am, lunch around 3am, a snack around 5am, and then dinner a little after I get home, around 8am or 9am and then I go to bed around 12noon or 1 oclock.
Of course Thursday and Friday I am going to bed earlier cause I'm getting up earlier cause I have over time and will be in for 12 hour shifts, so my meal times will shift a bit to reflect this.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/thumbsup2.gif)
