Reminder - BoardWalk from Obesity - OCWLS

Reminder for all those who plan to participate in our Third Annual OCWLS “Board Walk From Obesity” which will be held this year on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Seaside Park / Seaside Heights Boardwalk. This event is open to anybody who wishes to participate -- no need to be a member of the OCWLS Support Group.  Come on down to the Shore!

 We will meet at 9:30am at the corner of the parking lot outside the Saw Mill Restaurant & Tavern– 1807 Boardwalk, Seaside Park, NJ  08752 .  

 The Sawmill is located at the end of Stockton Avenue right at the Boardwalk.  Remember to bring quarters for the parking meters!

 We will have a 10am start to our jaunt down the boardwalk – round trip is approximately 2 miles – not long at all when you’re chatting and laughing with friends!  Come one, come all – bring your friends, family, kids and get them walking too!

 OK – let me know whose coming -- we’ll pose for our annual group picture just before the start of the Walk!  Wear red shirts!!!!!

I wish I know about this walk sooner.  I have a wedding on Sunday.  It would have been nice to walk in Seaside for a good cause.  Have fun!!!

I so want to go on Sunday for this walk. Unfortunately Bob had to rush me to the hospital last night.  I was diagnosed with Kidney stones in both of my kidneys and a bladder infection due to the stones... ughhhhh.  I know if i cant make it Bob will be there.  Im fine as long as im taking the pain meds the er doc prescribed for me but... as we all know after surgery it hits ya ten times harder lol.... So we will see.. If i dont see ya on sunday have a wonderful time... hugs Christine

Ouch Chris!  That doesnt' sound like fun -- tell Bob he'll have to make the walk twice to do his part for you too!  Hope you feel better soon.

Is the walk still on?  I would love to go!  Do i need to register anywhere?  Are dogs welcome?

No need to register anywhere - just show up!  Of course dogs are welcome!  Meet us at 9:30 at the parking lot next to the Sawmill Cafe - wear a red shirt!

Nan - I am sorry I will not be there tomorrow morning. I was just given tickets to attend the NASCAR race at Dover as present! for my wedding anniversary ...  I will be thinking about you guys while I am sitting in turn 2! Be safe and have fun Ray
