anyone?-dr meihlan-temple-lap band?

Hi, I am on my way for Lap band surgery. I have done the tests, sent in my fee, and am ready for approval. Has anyone had lap band surgery with Dr. Meihlan at Temple Hospital in Phila? And if so  was everything smooth and ok? I am nervous- I guess everyone is. I just wanted some support.' Thank you to everyone for such a great site! This really helped me. I do not kno anyone who has had this surgery. On this site I have even met other people who have celiac disease such as myself that are having the same issues as I am-This site is great!! Thanks again!!

Hello Xena, I did not have that doc, but am local to the marlton area.  I work there anyway.  I had Doc. Goldstein out of Virtua.  My lap band was Feb 5th!  feel free to pm if you have any quuestions I can help you with.

hi xena throw a post out there about gluten free diets AFTER wls -- i know there are a few people here who live gluten free -- could be of some assistance to you after surgery :)  good luck roberta
