1st Lap Band adjustment ????

I have yet to have had my 1st lap band adjustment.  I am a little nervous.  What should I expect?  Will I feel the difference right away? Will it hurt. Do they make you drink or eat in the office to make sure you can tolerate food without throwing up? How much weight is usually lost by the 1st post op visit? Thanks

Hi, I had my first fill last week 2.5cc's in my AP(10 cc) band and I barely felt a thing, it is actually less painful then when you have blood taken.   Everybody is different so you may or you may not feel a differnce, I didn't feel any different at all so I went back today for another fill (2.5cc's) and now I can feel a little different, although I haven't tried solid food yet (it may really kick in once I do), I am on liquids for today.  Dr. JB has you drink water in the office to make sure you are ok before you leave.  He is just wonderful. Everybody is different, I lost 10.2 at one week out and I am 5 weeks out now and am down 17.8, I met a few other people that lost faster like 30 lbs in 6 weeks.  How much wieght have you lost so far?
