Medicaid!!

Finally I found someone that will do the surgery that takes my Medicaid. Thanks to all of you wonderful guys I have a Appointment with DR. Jean-Baptiste M.D. on Sept.7 and hoping everything goes well.

Hi Shakeerah, I know that Dr. JB charges a program fee of $2,000 which is not covered by insurance.  You may want to check that out too as he had not told me until after my approval and it got me very upset.  You should make sure you know about it prior to any testing being done.  He's a great docor and I am happy with the results so far.  I just did not like being blindsided by this huge charge.  Find out as much as you can at your consult with any doctor so that you are prepared.  Good Luck to you!

I called DR.  Ducheine office again to double check and see if he takes my medicaid and the same woman that told me no yesterday asked DR. Ducheine if he takes it and now all of a sudden he do. lol I guess I'm going to have to try DR. Ducheine because he does the surgery at my hospital in Newark NJ.

Hi Shakeerah, I new I was right, it didn't make sense to me that he wouldn't take straight Medicaid when he takes other state insurance policies.  I am so happy for you.  So when are you going to go see him?  I had my surgery at Newark Beth Israel, is that the hospital you are talking about?  Well good-luck and let me know if you need anymore info. Shakeerah: It's not the doctor accepting the medicaid thats the problem; the hosp must accept as well. So when you find one make sure you ask where the doc does his surgeries and make that call.

Yes Newark Beth Israel does take Medicaid and thats where the doc do the surgery but I will check and make sure.
