Walter, Someone recommended I search you out regarding Tricare. I, too, have Tricare and would like to have the DS. From what I understand, you took that fight all the way up. Was wondering what you were told? Their reasonings for denial? Any info you can give would be appreciated. Ronni

forget tri care as it is today,  they wont do it, but fight the good fight anyway, go to your congress man,  appeal,  every one gets it from the the gov except tricare reciptents.  everyone, welfare, va,vets, to gov workers and cogressman. but not tricare, military folks,    my requirement for the DS was based inparft on restriction from the rny due to injury service connected,  they approved my for it and withdrew my approveval due to thier policy change durring the process, aproved but withdrawn proir to surgery,  You name I was mistreated. my congressman championed my cause from the secretary of defense down.  no good.

Walter, That is disheatening. I wonder why they covered it at one time and then changed the policy? I read your post on the DS board, I was not referring to you. I am always willing to "listen" to someone who has walked the road that I may need to walk. I am also glad to hear that you will be having your DS soon. Congratulations! I hope everything goes smooth for you. Ronni
