trivedi

has anyone ever had their surgery done by trivedi?  i'm scheduled for my lap band surgery next thursday and i just wanted to know what everyone thought of him.  i think hes great.   only thing is that i was not given a pre op diet really and i was wondering if he did this with anyone else and if its ok

I cannot speck for Dr. Trivedi, but my surgeon does not give everyone a pre-op diet.  He will put you on one if you gain a lot of weight between your consult and surgery but it is not a uniform thing for all patients.  If you have a question about it I would call his office. 

i've been calling but they keep saying i wont be on one.  i was set to have the surgery done a few years ago and i remember that the day before my surgery i had to take laxatives and not eat certain things, especially because of its color but that was like 3 years ago so maybe it changed.  my surgery is set for 1pm/ish next friday

I had Dr. Trevedi and I loved him! Your are in very very skilled hands, trust me! even my surgical cuts are very minimal compare to others I've seen, and he's very suportive and patient.  I can't say enough nice things about him! My experience was a great one

Dr Trivedi is great !!!  He was my surgeon and I am very pleased.  I did not have to go on a pre op diet either. (Doctor said it was not necessary)   My surgery went well and I am doing very well so far.  You are in good hands, don't worry.  If you do have any concerns you should call the office or ask your surgical coordinator.  I found the office staff to be very helpful.  Best wishes for your surgery !!! I had my surgery one year ago with Dr. Trivedi and he's super; very patient, soft spoken and very capable. You'll be in good hands!  Good luck! AJ
