Its been exactly 5 months to the day since my lap-band surgery, I went to my Primary Care Doctor yesterday, he hasn't seen me since before my surgery!  He walked in the room and said "WOW, I notice a difference" when he checked the weight loss he said "WOW 47 pounds down in 5 months" I can't tell you how good that made me feel, he said he was so happy for me and he expects to have me off of my Metformin for the diabetes and the Vytorin for my high cholesterol, he check my sugar and it was 78, he said thats AWESOME!  he will run the blood tests and hopefully cut down my meds until Im off them!  I could have cryed with happiness at seeing my health improve, my blood pressure was normal and even my menstrual cycle is on the money, having PCOS my cycles were very unpredictable, one month after surgery it was normal from then on, who would have guessed.  There is a great article in todays ledger or on MSN.com about how weight loss surgery is saving lives, and I feel so great that my health is improving.  My knees don't hurt, I'm walking miles and eatting right and healthy.  It was all worth it, and I'm looking forward to continuing my journey to health.  Lap-band surgery has changed my life for the BEST!!!

That is truly inspirational!  Congrats on all the hard work, because you have been using your tool right and changing in order to have such awesome results!
