Hi Everyone, I would like to know if at times when your losing the weight do you hit a plateau?  I lost 35lbs in the  first 3-4 weeks, now the scale isn't moving.    Melissa

Of course it is natural!  Remember - you just had major surgery.  You have lost a good deal of weight (good job!!) in a short time.  Your body is just taking a little break.  Just keep doing everything your surgeon told you to do, and you will be fine - the weight will come off - trust me!! Good luck!

hi melissa don't stress -- the weight will come off -- every surgeon should tell you that you will lose weight within a 12-18 month period -- so relax -- you got plenty of time :) congrats on the weight loss so far!! also, keep in mind that you are exercising -- right -- and muscle weighs more than fat -- so just cuz the scale isn't moving doesn't mean you aren't losing -- watch your clothes start to change -- you will be fine :) take care roberta
