Things people say

hi gang so last night we are at a cook out/pool party -- ok a bunch of people getting drunk and eating -- and one of the guys there had surgery around  xmas time i think -- and they were talking about his scar -- so i said that i love my scar -- nice little pencil line thing -- people turned to me and said 'you had that surgery too??' -- i said YUP and showed my scar -- next comment out of someone's mouth was 'why did you have that surgery? you are thin -- don't you have to be 100 lbs overweight' -- well first off you do not have to be 100 lbs overweight -- you need a bmi of 35 with other problems -- and 7.5 months ago i was 228 lbs -- then they asked if i was done losing weight -- told them i wasn't sure -- then ross came over and he was talking about the surgery -- they were shocked that he had the surgery too!! i had to take out my wallet and show these people pictures of us :) WOW was all they could say :) that was good enough for me :) it's nice to think that no one see's me as fat -- but if they could see the sagging/hanging/falling down skin under the clothes -- well then that would be a different story :) i even put on my new bathing suit and a pair of my little red sox shorts i bought a couple of years ago just cuz they were red sox shorts -- and i was qute impressed with myself :) maybe the pina colada's helped a little bit ;)  if they had known me 8 months ago they would have been driving me to the surgeons office and dropping me off and not coming back til i was done haha  and all i could think of was Nanette being a 'skinny *****' haha  take care roberta
