Need recommendations im in Pennsville Nj
Hi,
Everyone will tell you their doctor is 'the best', so before you make a decision, be sure to do your research under the "Find a Bariatric Surgeon' on the left side of your screen as there are listings for the different states, and look at the testimonials, as well as the posts on the NJ/PA boards.
I myself, because of the area I live in, which is so close to PA, spend a lot of time on the PA board, and also wound up chosing my doctor, based on my own research and reading the various posts on the OH boards, chose from the Barix Clinics in Langhorne, where all they do is Bariatic surgery, most skilled in the laproscopic RNY, which is much less invasive and less complicated than open RNY, plus, though we don't like to think about these factors, they have few, if any, fatalities, my surgeon has done over 1,000 of these procedures and never had a fatality. The place (Barix) is clean and they also have support groups that meet 2x a month.
So check out PA board too, if you haven't already done so! I am just someone who wants as many tools in my tool box as possible as I make this journey through WLS and support is a very big thing, we are truly blessed to have these boards and the support they offer us.
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

I researched doctors in new jersey and decided to search in PA. I found Dr. Ramsey Dallal, Einstein Bariatrics, Elkins Park Pa.
I LOVE HIM, HIS STAFF, THE HOSPITAL AND DO NOT REGRET ONE SINGLE BIT!!
I don't mind the ride and I tell everyone about him. If you decide to use him, feel free to tell them I referred you (i don't get anything out of it - it just puts a smile on my face and theirs!!)
