Wedding Dress...

I am SO EXCITED.  I ordered a wedding dress this weekend.  My arm surgery totally rocks! I went to the bridal salon, and put on the undergarments, not knowing I was supposed to come out of the dressing room and get changed in front of EVERYONE! OMG. There is NO MIRROR in the dressing room. WTH? So I was afraid some piece of private flesh would be hanging out.  Finally I opened the door and there was the lady with the dress, I was like OMG I'm supposed to come out!!!! So I turned and looked in the mirror in fear, and hey, didn't look so bad. Kinda like Madonna in the bra thingy. The problem, I LOVED EVERY FREAKING DRESS!!!!! I actually had nightmares the night before that nothing would look good, and WOW, I'm one awesome bride.  I couldn't believe how *tiny* I looked. I actually had my fat picture with me.  The saleswoman had lap band, so she was VERY SENSITIVE to my skin issues.   I want to wear my dress now and every day.  My fiance thinks I'm insane, but you watch, I'm so wearing my tiara to the next OCWLS meeting! I want to be a princess everyday!

You are going to be one BEAUTIFUL bride!  That is kinda bizarre to come out in the undies isn't it. LOL  I soooooooooooooo wish I were younger and had done this surgery *before* my wedding.  I looked horrible in my wedding gown.  It was such a gorgeous gown and I just wanted the day to end.  I took it off and, honestly, I have no clue where it is.  I'm sure someone in the family has it following one of our moves.  I hope I never see that big thing again. Takes pics of you in the tiara!!!  You know we want to see tons and tons of pics of you in your gown.  Enjoy every single minute of the planning.  Of course your fiance thinks you're insane.  Planning a wedding is a big deal! lol  And, face it, all eyes will be on you anyway. ;-)

That's so exciting.  What a special memory.  Hope some pictures were made so you can make a scrapbook page.  I'm sure you're beautiful with your tiara - why wear it only one day!!!???

I bet you look absolutely fantastic in that dress.  I remember dreading searching for a dress that would fit me.  I wound up wearing a white evening gown and had to have it altered.  There is no other feeling in the world than the day you see yourself in a stunning wedding gown.  This may sound insane, but the day I get down far enough, I am going to go try some on and take pictures to remember the queen for a day feeling high that comes with the experience.  Congratulations on your upcoming nuptuals.
