8-13-07 Surgery Date with Dr. Bertha-

I got the approval and my surgery is scheduled for 8-13 (the day after my birthday. Anyone else using Dr. Bertha and having their surgery that week,  We could share stories and ideas together. Thanks

Congratulations!  I love Dr. Bertha.  Have they scheduled your pre-op class yet?  You will probably meet some people there who are having surgery the same day. I was supposed to have RNY on 7/30 but am having a hernia repair instead.  Good luck to you! 

Congratulations! Where are you having your surgery? I am also using Dr Bertha, just waiting for a date. I should find out tomorrow-hopefully! Best of luck....maybe mine will be that soon!!                                                                Judy

I am going to Morristown.  I am hoping for 9/10.  They did not have the schedule for September yet and were not sure which days they were going to be in Morristown.  I don't want to have surgery on 9/11 and I may end up having to wait a few more weeks because of my hernia repair.  Good luck!  I hope you get a date soon.

I am using Dr. Bertha as well but have not had surgery yet.  I am calling today to find out if I have a date yet.  I am also waitting to find out if insurance has approved the surgery.  I am also doing the sleep study in Morristown tonight.  Not looking forward to that.  Are you going to St. Clare's or Morristown?

I just got my surgery date on August 28th at St. Clare's in Dover.  I live in Ledgewood.  I am also going for my pre op 3 hour class on August 1st.  Did you have the pre op class yet?  If not are you going on August 1st. 

 

 

I used Dr Abkin his partner and I used Morristown Memorial.  I love the practice.  They are very professional and are available for lots of questions.

Dr. Abkin was also my doc. I had my wls on 6/4/07. They are really good docs. Answer to previous post re: Morristown and dates.. Morristown is always on Monday. Tues is St. Claires.

I also used Dr Bertha he put in my band and 4 years later removed it (ersoion). Excellent Surgeon. I just wish he could do my revision to DS but he doesnt do that procedure. Best of luck to you
