Dr Strom and mountain side?

has anyone had surgury there or by him..would love input on this topic please..have a consult on the 2nd..thanks..shelley

Strom is my surgeon and I will be able to let you know how he did after the 1st which is when my surgery is happening.  I actually had another surgeon, but changed after attending and meeting Strom in Mountainside.  So far everything has been great, and I would recommend him. - Mike

Hi Mike..too funny..actually I met you there that night. I was with Kathy and her sister? Dont know if you recall.we all spoke for about a 1/2 hr after the meeting...So your big day is the 1st? I have a consult on the 2nd!!! How long did it take you to get a date after the consult? I was hoping to have it done by sept but I think that is pushing it. Did you have any trouble with your insurance? and lastly did they try and talk you out of the lapband? Look forward to hearing from you..good luck...please let me know how you make out..Shelley

I don't know much about him, but why don't you try Trivedi, Schmidt or Ewing at Hackensack Hospital? Better hospital, in my opinion. They do so many procedures,  with a very low complication rate and Hackensack is really one of the best hospitals in the country.

hasnt shown up yet mike..can you resend...put surgery in the subject line so I can find it...also thanks for your input on hackensack but I got bad news from my insurnce company today. WL surgery is excluded from my policy...I am so upset..cried for almost an hr today...I will call the dr office and see if there is still away it can get done thru apeal and also waiting for hubbies HR dept to get back to him...see if we upgrade the policy if that would work...but he seems to feel they wont upgrade in the middle of the yr...Im soo disappointed but I am not giving up yet...shelley
