LAPBAND (DR. KOULI)

Just curious to see if anyone out there had or is having the Lapband procedure at Atlanticare with Dr. Kouli? I really like him and I am leaning towards the the band. I am just wondering results?

I saw there is no one listed as a patient on his forum.  You should call his office and see if he has a support group.

Hello! I am a patient of Doctor Patel -- going through the testing. I work for Atlanticare and this is a great place to have surgery. As for Doctor Kouli -- he is a very nice guy, but I haven't met any of his patients yet. But I will keep you posted. Good luck with everything!

I had my lap band done at Atlanticare, but by Dr. Onopchencko.  He is fabulous and I think has more experience because, if I'm not mistaken, he has a larger patient census.  I've been extremely happy with the band.  Originally I wanted gastric bypass, but ultimately decided on the band and I'm so happy I did.  I had 70 lbs. to lose and I've lost 55 lbs.  It's getting tough to lose those last 15 lbs., but if I don't, I'm happy where I'm at today.  I'm a size 10 petite, so if this is it, I'm okay with that.
