More support groups in northern NJ?

Hi. I am interested in locating free support groups in northern NJ. I am near to Mountainside Hospital, St; Joseph's Hospital (Paterson and Wayne), Chilton, Valley and St. Barnabus.

Hi there. I am in northern NJ as well. There is a free support group at Hackensack Hospital - it meets the first Thursday of each month @ 6:30 PM - and now I realize that I just missed this month's meeting last night!

There is also a group that meets at the Valley Hospital Kraft Center in Paramus on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM. If you'd like more info on either meeting, just let me know! Wendy

Thanks! i now have a decent list of meetings that are convenient to me. I did attend the group at Hackensack last week. It focused on nutrician.

There are 3 support groups that meet at the Ambulatory Care Center at St Barnabas in Livingston. For the summer they are combined into one meeting each month. I don't have the lap band schedule but the number is listed below for information. These are the schedules: Bariatic Support Group 1 2007 SCHEDULE WHEN: Wednesday, July 18 Wednesday, August 15 Wednesday, September 19 Wednesday, October 3 Wednesday, November 7 Wednesday, December 12 LOCATION: Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center 200 South Orange Avenue Livingston, NJ (across from the Livingston Mall) TIME: 6:00 – 7:30pm Please call 973-322-7000 for scheduling changes. Thanks for the info! i work in Parsippany so this is a really convenient group for me. I won't be able to make the summer groups, but i will definitely be at the first Fall group. Thanks again.
