Hi Laneyw, I have had 4 fills so far and I feel the same way.  Everyone keeps telling me when I get the right fill I will know it !  Darn I had my surgery last Nov and I have lost 40 lbs and I have been stuck since Jan 07.So I know how you are feeling!  I have not gained wt and I keep exercising but nothing.  I am getting so frustrated     So hang in there and keep trying and we wil get there !

I know what you're both going through. I did not feel a decent restriction until my 5th fill. I've now had 6 fills and I finally know what being restricted is. I'd talk to other bandsters and they told me they physically could not eat a large amount of food or they'd vomit -- for me, before my 6th fill, that never happened to me - I could eat a lot, could eat bread -- I still lost, but not much at all. My doctor kept telling me that the band is a tool and that I had to do my part, and I kept telling him that I was struggling, not enough restriction -- although at the time I really didn't know what a good restriction was. So, now I'm starting to lose again and it's not a struggle - I can't eat a large amount of food for breakfast or lunch anymore which I'm so happy about - I can eat a decent dinner, but half the volume I was eating at previous fills. I think the same thing will happen for you with more fills, although it's so frustrating waiting to get to that place. I would have preferred to be filled to this point within the first 2 or 3 fills so I could have lost more weight sooner. I'm just thankful my insurance covered the cost of my fills so far. The only thing I can suggest is to ask your doctor how many CCs your band holds, and how many CCs of liquid are currently in your band - if it's not too full, maybe your doctor would give you more liquid than usual in your next fill.
