Lets Talk Tattoos...............
I think it all depends on where it is and how much weight you loose. I have a pretty large pice on my lower back/ upper butt area. I have lost about 66 lbs so far. The tattoo seems to be shrinking with my skin. It could just be my imagination running away with me, but it seems much darker and more defined. I was smallet when I got it, then gained weight, now I'm smaller then I was when I got it, so I think it had stretched with me as I grew, and it seems to have gone back as I drppoed the weight. Good luck.
I was wondering that as well. I do not have any tattoos but did want to get one. I was thinking on my calf ( I have a scar there and always thought to put a tattoo there) I have wanted to get a memorial tattoo for my sister and my niece. I was thinking a butterfly with the word hope underneath it and both of their first names on the sides. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not it would be ok to get now or do I need to continue to wait. Thanks for your input!
mine is on my ankle so i don't have to worry about it too much -- but i do know that i have lost at least an inch off my ankle -- i have an anklet that is very very loose now
my husbands is on his upper arm and he's lost 180 lbs so far and i don't see a change in his tattoo
good luck to you :)

I have 6 tats - and they all survived my 180 lb weight loss. I have a daylily on my chest - although my chest deflated (from a 48 DDD to barely a 38 DD) it still looks good. I also have a very large sort of butterfly (I say sort of because it is so much more!) that I got at the beginning of my weightloss that has also faired well.
