Update since my surgery! I'm soooo Happy!
Hi everyone, here's my update...I'm 41 lbs DOWN and I reached my mini goal!!! I'm feeling awesome, I went for my 2nd fill on June 20th, it was a breeze, on that day I was 38lbs down and The Doc said I am defying the ODDS, and that the average person loses 52lbs a year with the lap-band! This is the best thing I have ever done in my life and I have not 1 single regret!! I walk alot sometimes 5 miles a days at least 3 to 4 times a week, I do not drink diet soda, eat bread, (only whole grains) pasta or red meat unless Im at a gathering and I have a taste of something. I never feel hunger pangs and the cravings for sugary fattening foods has vanished! My clothes are getting baggy and thats a good feeling! I had one sliming experience but it was because I took a big gulp of ice tea after eatting a piece of chicken cutlet that was going down slow! I learned my lesson, drinking with my meals was the hardest thing for me on this journey but I'm learning to wait at least 30 to 40 mins before drinking something after I eat, and I get my water intake in between meals now. I faithfully take my multi-vitamins, B-12 and calcium and sometimes my energy levels is through the roof! I am working my band and my band is working for me!!!!!! My next mini goal is 20 more lbs by 9-1! (Total I want to lose 150lbs, but I will do this one mini goal at a time)
