My landlord is threatening to kick me out if I do not get rid of my dog.  Its a 3 year old Dachshund.  She is the sweetest dog and deserves a good home.  Please help me find her a home.  If you would like to see my precious baby please click on the link to my page www.obesityhelp.com/member/jus_chanj/  Please send me an email at [email protected] or send me a private message on OH or call me at 908-240-5041. She needs a home soon or I will have to give her to the pound! Treena

HOw I wish I could keep that precious puppy but have two of my own and a bunch of birds too!! Please don't turn her over to a pound, go to petfinder.com and place her up for adoption, or..any chance you can move to a petfriendly apartment and have someone care for Co-Co in the meantime, I mean, why should you have to give up on your baby, what is the landlord's issue, is it a sudden decision they made or have you just gotten Co-Co? I hope and pray you can find a home for her.  Good luck!!

Hi Treena That is so sad!  Why is your landlord threatening you?  Did they just find out you have the dog? Tell me about her - I assume she is potty-trained.  How is she with kids?  Does she need to be on a leash or if you let her outside, will she take off on you?

She is wonderful with children.  She loves to play and run outside.  If you lay down to go to sleep, she will lay down and go to sleep with you.  She is potty-trained and everything.  You will immediately fall in love with her.  She will not run away.  She loves human food, but I do not feed it to her often.  She eats the hard dog food.  If you met her, you would fall in love.  I really hate to give her away.  I am trying to find a home for her so I can continue to come and see her.  I am crying as I write this.   If you have a good home for her, please let me know.  My children are devestated, but I think if I find her a good home, they will feel better about letting her go and so will I. She is a very good dog.  She listens to commands and everything... Please dont make me write more about her because I am not going to want to give her away and then I will be homeless.

I am so sorry.  I will see what I can do about finding a home for her.  One last question, how big is she and/or how much does she weigh and will she get any bigger?

Michelle, please save CoCo from the pound!! There is a reason for your interest..GO MICHELLE, GO MICHELLE, GO MICHELLE!! CoCo looks like a Daschund but instead of a smooth coated one she has longer hair, she looks precious sounds like a sweet puppy, sounds like my furball who wants to sleep when I am lying down too, great company when I was recovering from surgery..oh I will hope and pray that you can give her a home!

She is about 8 or 9 pounds and she will not grow anymore.  She is 3 years old.  I really wish someone could give her a good home.  You should see her when I come in from work.  She jumps up and down for the longest until I start to play with her.  She is a great dog and I truly hate to give her up.  Please help me find a home for her.

Thanks for all of your help.

hi treena it was great talking to you on the phone :) i couldn't type the last msg fast enough before someone else called lol i just looked at her pics and showed them to ross -- she is a pretty dog :) and her name matches her too!! did you name her or did she already have that name? like i said, we have put in 2 applications to adopt a dog at the burlington animal shelter -- the first one 2 months ago was denied because the apartment complex doesn't allow dogs -- but others here have dogs -- so i decided that we should move -- there are other issues here too -- like i want a yard and i want a grill -- i figure in a year we will buy a house -- i need to save more money -- so we found another apartment that we are moving into on 8/18 -- it has a yard -- we can have a grill -- i can plant flowers -- and we can have a dog :) and just last week i went back up to the shelter and put in another application for a Papillon -- but i called saturday and asked about her and they said that she is no longer available and that 3 people have put in applications -- ross seems to think that we won't get her -- so when i saw your posting i just had to jump on it!! she will be a spoiled little girl :) just like the birds are :) and of course the cat haha poor fish can't be spoiled too much haha well i'm going to watch my beloved red sox play some ball -- i'll talk with you this week :) i also have wednesday off -- and i looked up the address and i can just shoot up 295 -- it says it's 57 miles -- wonder what state parks are between us so we can meet halfway for visitations lol there is so much to do (and so much walking) in the state parks that sometimes people forget about them  take care roberta
