Food Confused
I am very confused about what I am supposed to be taking in each day as far as calories, protein, etc.
I have been keeping a food journal and I seem to be taking in about 300 calories a day, and about 40 grams of protein a day. I am not sure if that is too much or too little. Lately I have been feeling a little lightheaded, so I wonder if my intake has anything to do with it. Another bypass friend told me I should be taking in 90 grams of protein a day, but with the limited quantity of food, I can't see how to get it in.
My surgeron and my nutritionist gave me very little to go by and my nutritionist gave me a big NO to protein bullets.
Anyone have any idea??
Hello how are you. Do not take the protein bullets I was doing that they are no good. Go to the vitamin shoppe or gnc and get lean body by labrada they make it in chocolate or vanilla there is 40g of protein in each drink.If I can help my email is [email protected]

I have been taking the bullets as a suppliment, because its quite hard to get my 80 grams of Protein each day. I usually have a shake between breakfast and lunch, and a bullet either before or after dinner.
Why do you say they are bad? So many people on this site swear by them. I am confused. I, of course, never spoke with my nut about them, so I do not have that info to go by.
