hello guys i wolud like to know if anyone knows a psych in the union county area or nearby who knows what to say for approval from insurance.                                                             

Does your surgeon have one that his office works with?  If not, perhaps they could give you a reference.

well the one they have only takes cash and they don't have any suggestions. So i was hoping that i can get some help here

Well don't talk too much. Answer the questions be as normal as possible even if you aren't.  If you talk too much the shrink will want to see you again.  I think they can see you up to three times before giving you clearance.  Keep it simple.

I see that you are using Dr. Bertha. I used him as well. I too went to Dr. Grant, his Psych. I paid out of pocket & then I submitted to Ins myself. My Ins. co denied for VERY stupid reasons. I called Dr. Grant immediately & the next day I had a check issued to me for the ENTIRE amount I paid him!!! I highly recommend you see him. If you can't front the $$ ask him if there is any way to discount it or waive the fee or pay over time??? He really was great!!! Good Luck & Keep us posted.
