I had surgery on May 30th and the scale hasnt budged. no complications.. been barely eating, getting in most liquids.. walking a little every day.. and i have had a few BMs since i have been home.. so i dont think i am constipated.. is this normal?? From everyones profile, it seems that a steady 15-20 lbs is the regular for everyone??

Don't worry - you will lose.  Remember - they pump you up with tons of fluids while you are in the hospital.  I bet you are still a little swollen, also.  Step away from the scale, and relax.  Before you know it, your clothes will be falling off of you!! PS - What ever happened with your job - did your boss finally cooperate?

I will try to take the advice and to step away from the scale. hopefully the increase in walking and protein helps.. I am currently sueing my previous employer for discrimination for my disability and wrongful termination. I hope we can get them to settle out of court.. But yeah.. that isnt over. just one added stress.. that might also be effecting my weight loss or healing.. i have alot on my mind. thanks for the reply. :-)

I'm sorry to hear about your job - but remember - all things happen for a reason.  There is a better job waiting around the corner for you.  Take care of yourself, and just concentrate on healing!!

Go slow everyone loses at different rates.  You will start seeing that number go down and then there will be no stopping you. CONGRATS! on going after the surgery and gettign it.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
