Weigh in and other musings
3.1 lbs since last weigh in, despite being on vacation - that's a total of an even 60 lbs in 14 weeks. I am now in size 3XL underwear and 2XL shirts, as well as size 50 shorts (which is down 5 sizes from surgery day).
The following was from Friday, but I had problems posting it from the hotel; I was in Orlando at GayDays:
1. Last week, I went to Casual Male to buy some shorts for my Florida trip. I am now in a size 50 - that's 5 sizes smaller since the surgery. I also found a pair of slacks in 50 on clearance, but they didn't QUITE fit. I bought them anyway, since they were tagged at $75.
2. One of my friends directed me to the wrong website to book my hotel for this trip, so I'm by myself in a different hotel. Since I'm in the wrong hotel, the roommate they set up for me backed out, so I'm out the entire cost of the room, instead of half. Apparently, out of sight, out of mind, because they haven't called me once all day (yes, I've called them, they haven't answered their phones or returned my voicemails).
ETA: They texted me a bit after 11pm - someone offered them tickets to the beach dance at Typhoon Lagoon, so they trundled off without bothering to call and tell me... and when I said how upset I was, I was told to "stop being a drama queen; I don't need it." I wonder why I bother....
3. I haven't had lunch or dinner, but I'm so upset I'm too nauseated to want to eat.
4. I bought a timeshare today. It's officially for the last week of March, but since that's a spring break week, it's "high-value", which means I can swap it for a larger condo or a longer stay at a "low-value" time of year (such as GayDays in early June). I got a good deal, because I bought out a foreclosure, so I only have to pick up the remaining portion of the equity, not the entire regular value. It also entitles me to unlimited "Getaway weeks" at $200-450/wk in properties around the country and the world (international is a little more expensive).
