BIG SCARE- overnight hosp stay

Hey Guys!   Sorry I haven't been on.  I had a big scare.  I haven't thrown up at all yet.  And then wham! For the past 3 days I can't stop =( and even worse, blood in my stool (so gross ewww!) I had to go to the ER and then I had a stat endoscopy. They were scared it eroded my stomach lining.  Thank god it wasnt that.  Turns out I have IBS or ulcerative colitis.  They kept my over night. And it gets worse, I have to for a colonoscopy =(.  Dr. Mehta was so phenomenal! By my side the whole time. He even did my endo, and came to see me again later on that night, and the next day.

DEAR MICHELE    I'M SORRY THAT YOU HAD A SCARE!!    I HOPE EVERYTHING WILL BE O.K. YOU ALSO SOUND LIKE YOU HAD A GOOD "GI" DOCTOR,  OR WAS THAT YOUR SURGEON WHO TOOK CARE OF THE TWO TEST?? I WANTED TO ASK YOU?   DID YOUR SURGEON REQUIRE AN ENDO BEFORE SURGERY? I HAD TO HAVE ONE, AND A BARIUM SWALLOW.    JUST WONDERING.  EVERY SURGEON IS DIFFERENT, AND THEY ASK FOR DIFFERENT THINGS. FEEL BETTER MY FRIEND, I'M SURE YOU WILL GOOD, ONCE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TAKING CARE OF. KEEP US POSTED BRIDGET   K.
