i'll be 6 months out on tuesday
i see a fat person still
i've lost about 70 lbs
i'm a size 8 and i KNOW that is thin
but when i look down i still see fat -- i still don't think i can fit someplace -- i can't judge size

I'm 4 months out and down to a size 12.
When I look in the mirror I see gorgeous, sexy, beautiful--damn, I'm hot!
Try positive messages to yourself. Even if you don't believe them at first, just keep saying them--you will believe them eventually.
You have to remove old negative tapes in your head and replace them with very postive messages. Practice everyday and you will believe yourself.

I'm one year post-op and I see a combination of things when I look at myself. I see things on my body that I haven't seen in years such as a waist, collarbone, wrists and ankles. I see how my curves enhance my shape, but I also see the pouch of my stomach and the sags in my thighs. I see that I will never be the perfect size, but I have my health and that what matters the most.
