Help, I've hit a plateau at 5 weeks out!
4/9/07 was my date so that makes me just slightly more than 5 weeks out. I lost 42 lbs in the first two weeks. Then over the next 2 weeks I lost 1 stinking pound. I seem to have plateaued as well. I hope that everyone else is right and this is my bodies adjustment period. I am sure that they are. Just wanted to let you know that you have shipmates. Marla

you are both doing WONDERFUL, i repeat wonderful.
your body is just catching up with your rapid weight loss. just keep doing what your doctor and nut told you to do, keep drinking those fluids and eating/drinking your protein. you will both be fine. it is very normal to plateau for a couple of weeks. it happened to me three times during the first 7 months, so please dont stress.
the weight will continue to come off and you are both success stories already!!!

Drink your liquids, drink that protein (note to self, do that too!), I'm about 8 weeks out, lost 32lbs and sometimes have thought, others have lost more than I at this same time, but that's silly thinking, and I'm happy to be losing this weight after years of trying and failing, don't worry about the scale, focus on how much better you loook and you feel, my clothes are starting to fall off of me and nothing is fitting (yay!) and I'm fitting into stuff I haven't worn in years and kept in the closet, so you are both successes, we all are since we've taken a step in the right direction!! Good luck!! And get movin!
