Hi, I am new here!

Hello everyone, I am a 27 year old mom to triplets in NJ. I am 300 lbs and just got a surgery date of July 9th! I am so excited, I can barely stand it. I felt like it took forever to get everything together, but now I feel like time is flying by. I look forward to getting to know some of you and hearing your stories. Courtney

Hi Courtney, Way to go, 27, Mom to triplets. . . just think of all the wonderful things, the new, healthy and trim you will be able to enjoy with those 3 children. I am almost 2x your age and have almost 4 grandchildren and I am going for my initial consult on May 25th, but I am committed to seeing this through, because I want to be a participator in life and be able to do things like go to Disney with my grandkids, as I did with their parents when my children were young. So welcome here and let me say that there is a wealth of helpful people on this site. Enjoy the journey! Laureen

Welcome Courtney! I'm just waiting for a date, congratulations on yours! Good luck in your weight loss journey. I'm a mom of 4 so I know how busy you are...although I didn't have mine all at the same time. Anyway enjoy them, time goes by so quickly. God bless.. Judy

Hi Courtney! My name is Ana, and I am a pre-op from Jersey as well! I started the process not too long ago, and got a date not too long ago (may 30th)! I will keep you posted on my progress and you can go to my profile page for the good, the bad and the ugly so you know what to expect for your surgery. lol. thats what i have been doing ever since I become a member.. hi courtney, I feel the same as you - as of today I am on only liquid till my surgery date which is June 6th, I am also excited but scared and nervous and can't wait to start my new journey. I think after my surgery I am going to write my blog I just don't have the time right now to do it. Trying to get everything in order before my surgery. I also have Dr. Washington as my doctor I am having the gastric sleeve procedure. talk to you soon. Stephanie
