SURGERY DATE !!

Hi All! I have been tentatively scheduled for May 30th with Dr. Slotman in Cherry Hill!! YAY! I am both anxious and nervous. If anyone else is having surgery with the same doctor on or around May 30th, please let me know. Thanks. Wishing everyone luck. Take care. !

Congradulations, on your surgery date, I have mine on June 6th with a different doctor - Dr. Washington, I feel the same as you scared, nervous and so excited - the reality is there now - I am so scared but there are a million people that felt like this before there surgery and they are doing great - just imagine a year from now, how your life will be - I just want to be healthy and be able to walk without any more pain in my legs. wishing you luck as well.

Stephanie- I am having my surgery on June 11th. I see that you are from Lavallette. We have a house there on Pennsylvania Ave. We are on Ocean bloce but the 2nd from Rt 35. We go every weekend from April through Oct. It is the GREATEST. Maybe we can meet up some time & comapre note! Good Luck! Amy

Hi Amy, I live on Newark Ave. right on 35N and Newark in a condo. I would love to get together with you, we can walk together in the evenings if possible ride bikes and if you want before I go to work early am walkers, what is going to suck for you and I is that no beach water for 5 weeks, my doctor told me cause to dirty and also the waves might be to rough. what kind of surgery are you getting? Stephanie, I am having the laproscopic RNY. My Dr. hasn't mentioned anything about the water yet, but maybe because I haven't asked. Bummer, because I am a ocean freak. I LOVE going in the water, but it is worth it. We arrive every Friday around 9pm and leave on Sunday nights. I am definately up for walks. let me know. Amy

Thanks to everyone for your well wishes and congrats to me! I just found out that the woman i exchanged numbers with at the nutritionist meeting is scheduled for the same day! So we will most likely be roomies! I am excited to have someone share in my experience with me. I will post updates on my page if anyone is interested
