looking for support group

i live in wayne nj.... i had my surgery in brooklyn because the doc (Dr. Gorecki) came very highly recomended to me, but driving 2 hours with traffic to brooklyn is a killer so im looking for something closer to home..... any suggestions??? thanks

there is a support group meeting in Ramsey NJ every 2nd Tues of every month if you want details just email me at [email protected] or [email protected], good luck if not Becky

There is also a group that meets at Hackensack University Hospital on the 1st Thursday of the month from 6:30 pm to approx. 8:00 pm. Anyone is welcome - no matter where or with who you had your surgery. Wendy

There is also one at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ.

You go into the main hospital entrance and you have to check in with "guest relations." They give you a visitor's pass and a direction card to get you to the meeting room. It is a bit of a walk and down 1 level. Wendy

Yep... June 7th. I didn't make it there this month. Not sure how next month will work out yet. Wendy

I don't know if you are aware of it, or not, but there is a support group that meets in Paramus, as well. It is affiliated with Valley Hospital, and meets at 15 Essex Road, Paramus. That meeting is the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month (meets tomorrow), and I am planning on going to that one. Wendy
