I'm New and Scheduled for Lap Band

Thanks Michelle I'm so excited. Hey, I used to work in Bricktown. In the Brick Plaza. Worked for City Federal Bank (Now gone). My whole family is down in Toms River, Beachwood and Bayville. Heading down for a visit this weekend. I wish some of my family members would consider this surgery. We have a family history of Diabetes, and High Blood Pressure. My dad and brother died of a stroke. My brothers death was a wake up call to me. Though I am healthy I want to remain that way. And if you keep packing on the lbs, you cant be healthy. Maybe I will be first, then I will have to send my sisters to the Dr. you used. Thanks for your support Ronnie

Ronnie~ That is too funny. You used to work in Brick and I used to work in East Hanover! Back in the late 1980's, I worked for 3 years at Nabisco Brands world headquarters in their travel department, right on DeForest Avenue. I loved that building and they were a great company to work for. I think it is suppposed to be a pretty nice weekend here at the shore. Saturday morning is not going to be so nice, but Saturday afternoon and Sunday will be good. I am working in Wildwood on Saturday, so I am heading south too. I am doing some pre employment drug and alcohol testing for a supermarket down there, they are hiring tons of summer help right now all along the coast... it gets so busy down here. Keeps me busy though! Good luck with all of your pre surgery arrangements and all that hustle and bustle. IF you are ever going to be down in this area again and want to visit one of our support groups, we meet in Toms River the first Friday of each month and in Lakewood the third Monday of each month. Hey Ronnie, congratulations on your way to a great weightloss journey....It is an AWWESOME tool....As long as you work it and let it work you....The hardest part for me is to get rid of the head hunger...If we go out and eat, I still order way toooo much and can not even get passed the appetizer because I get full...Remember the biggest thing is eat slow and take small bites..Best of luck to you....Dave T
