question from Lakewood meeting
Hi guys...My mom and I went to the new Vitamin shop in Brick by the Target, and I got the Isopur whey and the Micellar milk. When I got to the counter, I said to the guy that I know I can get it at another place for 28.00, and he asked me for the book. I had no idea what he was talking about, so I asked, don't you have a book back there behind the register? And he said yes, and looked it up, and sure enough there it was for 28.00. He gave it to me for that price, but said I MUST have the book with me next time. What the heck is he talking about?
PS: Lentil soup rocks.

I think he meant that they want you to have the sale flier from the other store that you are saying it's on sale there for $28.00? I haven't price matched yet there, but I will when I need something again. I am glad they let you do that. I would just look for another sales associate next time and do the same thing. Just tell them that you will go to the other store (I forget the name of it, on 37 in Toms River near Kislins is the best I can remember) and buy it there if they don't give you the same price.

Hi Marcie:
Yes ... I had the exact experience at the same store as I shared in the meeting ... but we will need to get ahold of the mail order published book that they use as a reference ... I know that at GNC I can buy the Isopure for $32.00 as I had used the comparison to the shop in TR that Michelle was referring to (which I also forgot the name at this point - but AJ knows the name ... he gave it to me before). I like Michelle's idea of just using a different associate on the next trip ... try to sneak a peak or see if you remember the name of the mail order catalogue company so that we can contact them and get on their mailing list.
Best ...
Michael
