Hello everyone, I'm judy and new to this website and have a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. I just got a call from my pcp, she received the results of my stress test and they are abnormal. She said there were some ischemic changes. I am seeing the cardiologist on the 19th, she just wanted to give me a heads up. I don't have hypertension, diabetes or any underlying cardiac problems that I know of, so my question is....Would this mean that surgery is out of the question for me? Any imput you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks judy

Hi Judy, This does not mean that surgery is out for you. You'll see the cardiologist on the 19th and find out what his recommendations are. He may want you to have a cardiac catheterization or other tests. My best advice is "don't borrow trouble". Wait until you see the specialist and see what he says. See you soon! Regards, Kathryn
