out of recovery

Marcie had surgery at 10:30 this morning and was in recovery till 8:00 tonight. She finally was released to her regular room. She asked me to post and voice her concern. Apparently her heart rate was high and she is running a low-grade fever. They did an ekg, chest x-ray, and extra blood work and everything came back negative. I told her to relax and stop worrying because they wouldn't have sent her to a regular room if they thought there was a problem. She sounds very alert and is anxious for them to get her up to walk around.

With Marcie's level of anxiety leading up the surgery, I'm really not surprised that her heart rate was a bit high -- as soon as she gets walking around, she'll calm down I'm sure. Give her our love and best wishes. Hugs, Nannette
