thank you everyone
it's a tremendous journey!! it's not so much about how much we have lost -- but what we can now do -- to get in and out of the car without feeling the car go down to the ground -- to sit in a chair and not have to look to make sure my ass fits in the chair -- to be able to walk up stairs without feeling like i'm climbing mount everest -- to eat foods slowly and enjoy them -- to be able to breathe -- to stand up without the knees breaking -- to get up from the floor without having to hang on to the chair first and then a table in order to get up -- to realize that we didn't give up alot of foods -- splenda is my friend!! if the package says splenda then it's for us
just to be able to have freedom and movement and be able to breathe again
the best of luck to everyone

Hi to both of you - just checked out the pictures - WOW!! How are you feeling? My surgery was on 4/4 at Barix Clinics in Langhorne, PA. Today I'm feeling more like myself. I've got the whole week (Spring Break from school) to recover - then back to the grind :-) It's good to talk to someone from South Jersey - I'm in Mt. Laurel. Take care and keep up the fabulous progress!!
