Back from deaths door
Had my surgery march 8. After 2 weeks and 3 surgeries from bleeding from previous hernia surgery, I'm finally home. Feeling a little better each day, getting my strength back. Only major problem I'm having is diarrhea. I'm on the full liquid stage right now. Anybody having that problem & any suggestions on how to deal with it?
Im glad to hear you are doing well. Right now your stools are supposed to be that way... at least it was for Bob and I in the beginning. We were told its normal. If its a real issue i would call your Dr. right away especially since you have had complications. Keep us posted on how your doing.

I am so sorry to hear about your previous few weeks, what a nightmare for you. I am glad it's over and you are beginning to feel better now. Sorry I can't help with the diarrhea issue, ever since my surgery it's been the opposite problem, and neither is nice.
I hope you continue to feel better every day from here on out!

I'm so sorry to hear of your ordeal! I'm glad you are home, and I hope your recuperation from here on out goes much more smoothly.
I have not had any diarrhea issues, but in the early days when you are drinking all of meals, I think it would be hard to have any sort of solid stool. If it's a matter of going MULTIPLE times a day, racing for the bathroom, talk to your doctor, but as someone who has frequently encountered the opposite problem since my surgery, it seems like it's not something you want to stop or alter.
hey mark
great team of docs you got behind you as for the diarrhea -- it's part of the surgery right now -- just wait til constipation is your best friend and won't leave your side but as each day goes by you will feel better and before you know it the diarrhea will stop -- but remember, it's part of the journey
best of luck to you
