Dr. Yves Manigat in Voorhees- Reviews??

Hi Everyone. I am scheduled to have a consultation with Dr. Gus Slotman on Tuesday, however i haven't fully decided which surgery is best for me (Band vs. Bypass) so i wanted to keep my options open. Slotman doesnt beleive in the Band, but i found another doc in the area who does both surgeries. Has anyone used Dr. Manigat before? Can anyone tell me more about him or his staff? Oh, and i am switching from Aetna health insurance to Oxford, and Slotman said he deals with Oxford all the time and they are apparentely a breeze to get approval with. Whew. lol.

read my profile i started with Manigat i have Aetna and had no trouble being approved i used Dr. Matt Kirkland in Philly -- i was sooooooooooo happy i switched!! let me tell you -- i will NOT give manigat or his office a good review -- i feel as though they are only in it for the money good luck roberta oh and my husband is STILL getting a bill from manigat AFTER his office told me that they took BC/BS -- found out later that they never took BC/BS

Hi Roberta! i feel like such an idiot!.. lol. i apologize, i havent been on the site in a while, and i havent been really thinking of the bypass or anything related, so i totally forgot about our whole conversation last time about Kirkland vs. Manigat. Thank god i kept the message and re-read it. I decided to get a consult with Slotman AND Kirkland, so since Kirkland doesnt do a consult until after the informational meeting, i went ahead and scheduled that for next week. I am keeping the consult with Slotman, even though the insurance i have now is switching to Oxford on april 1st.. I just want to get 2 different docs opinions and see who i feel more comfortable around. So far, it seems Slotman and Kirkland have the same reps, and same rave reviews. The only difference seems to be the presence of after care with Kirkland. So he is my #1 pick at this point. Thank you for referring him.

I do not know this doctor, but I have not heard good things about him or his staff. However, I used Dr. Adam goldstein and I was happy with ;my care. He is also in voorhees, out of the west jersey health care system. Good luck to you!! Bridget k.

WELL I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU I HAD DR GUS SLOTMAN HE ITS A GREAT DOCTOR THE BEST WHAT HE DOES HE MAY BE THE GUY ITS RIGHT TO THE POINT WITH HIS WORK BUT I WOULD NEVER WENT TO ANY BODY BUT HIM HE ITS THE TOP SURGERON 'S FOR GASTRIC BYPASS .. I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE WENT TO HIM ...I HAD THE GASTRIC BYPASS WITH DR SLOTMAN ON JAN 22 2007 AND LOST 67 POUNDS SO FAR I AM ALMOST 9 WEEKS MONDAY .. I HOPE YOU WELL WHO U PICK !!!
