Hi Jeanne Thanx for the support. I know i'll eat again. not like i use to. I need to find a support group around my way also. Im seeing those pizza hut commericals a lot. i know i can't eat anything now. but its like so hard u know? i hate broth, cannot stand it. I just want to know if i will be able to eat certain things. like would i ever eat a half of a slice of pizza? would i eat half of a cheese burger? those are my questions. and im scared i won't ever.. and feel real miserable. you know? im going to my surgeon's office tuesday. Thanx for the support. im still suffering with pain and the hunger. i know it will past.

Zandy, You will be able to (unfortunately) eat everything again. I had my first slice of pizza, a slice of Macks down the shore at 4 months out. I had no complications. I can eat just about anything, but I don't. You will get there. Good luck with finding a support group, I am going to one that is especially designed for post ops 9 months out and more. You will see once the clothes become looser and if you have any co-morbidities start to disappear hunger will not matter. Try looking at the different website and posts that list the different things that you can have at your post-op time. I lived on salmon, tuna and ham processed in the food processor. I made a mean wasabi sauce to spin up with it. You will get there. Jeanne
