surgery scheduled for March 12

Hi i am going in for the lap band procedure on 12 th and meeting the surgeon tomorrow for pre op consultation - . so far I have not been given any specific pre op diet - Since I am paying for it myself the tension wiht the ins co is not there. My big concern is I am pure vegetarian (I take milk products and products with eggs if cannot feel the texture or taste -like icecreams etc no omelettes or scrambled eggs etc.) If anyone has any suggestions for post op vegetarian diets please let me know.

hi good luck with your upcoming surgery. im not sure how to address your diet concerns, but perhaps you should post this note on the main message board and someone may be able to help you. also, if your doctor has a nutritionist on staff, perhaps they could be of assistance to you. good luck again, jacki

Thanks. I did meet with the surgeon who alleviated some of my concerns. Now i am just waiting (and praying).
