HOT FLASHES OR COLD FLASHES????????? Over the past few days.... i have been getting them..... Not fun at all. Im freezing my hubby out in the house when i get em lol....... is this normal??? I know its not menopause... im only 29...... thanks Christine

Hi Christine, Don't worry about it. during the first month or so post-op your body is ridding itself of a tremendous amount of free estrogen. Estrogen is stored in fat cells and your body is emptying out a lot of them right now. This is the reason for the hormonal hot/cold flashes and even for any of the moodiness you might have been experiencing this first month or soon. It will all level off soon. You'll probably still get cold alot. I tend to freeze all the time now - no more padding!! Just remember...when you get cold its just a great opportunity to cuddle up to Bob to warm up!! Hi, I find that since my surgery I get cold more often and I get the chills and it's hard to warm up. I think it's becuase of less body fat.
