extreme dizziness

I'm new to the site, signed up 5 minutes ago. I had the lap band on the 8th. Everything was fine, just constantly hungry since I didn't have any "fill" yet. This morning a terrible dizziness woke me up around 5am. I remember I felt it during the night too. The room was literally spinning with me. Also had nausea but did not throw up (I don't think there was anything in, anyway!). Did anyone experience anything like this? I left a lot of messages at my surgeon's office, but nobody called back, I hope this is a good sign... So please let me know if anything like this happened to anyone of you out there! Daniela

i really think you need to talk to the doc, but the one thing that comes to mind is are u staying hydrated. lack of fluids can cause all kinds of crazy reactions. hope u feel better real soon. hugs, jacki

Are you getting enough protein? I get like that when I don't. How many grams are you getting a day?

Hi, Most of the time it is lack of water. Drink more and you should feel better. Good luck. Mark
