Treadmill Question

Does anyone know how long you should be working out on the treadmill per day, to see some weight loss results??? Thanks for your responces....

hi sharon i know most ppl where i go seem to spend about 30 minutes on the treadmill. not sure if more would be needed or not, or maybe some other exercise in conjunction with the tredmill. i walk when i can and when i go to gym i do 30 minutes and its been working for me. good luck, jacki

Since i started going to the gym regularly i do 30 to 45 mins on the treadmill and i have seen the weight just start sliding off of me lol...... hope this helps... hugs Christine

Most treadmills will give you a reading of the amount of calories you are burning off. So you want to at least burn 300 calories. In September, when I started this journey, I was only doing 30 minutes on the treadmill at a 3.0 pace..Now I am running 2-3 miles in 45 minutes, burning 650-700 calories. It is amazing how fast you will build up your tolerance when you do it consistantly 4-5 days a week...If you are doing it 5 days a week, give your body a day or 2 to rest...Good luck.....

I been doing 30 min on the treadmill and 20-30 min on the elliptical thingy at the gym.
