ONE YEAR OUT AND AND A COMPLETE STAND STILL!!!!
Hey everyone, I was just wondering are there anybody out here that had surgery 1 year ago and could you give me an update. I had lap band and I am down about 51 or 52 lbs. I had a fill in November and scheduled for one this Wednesday. I have not lost anything since the last Dr. Appt. and I was wondering if I even need a fill. Alot of my protein foods get stuck, Of course any sweets can go down. I will see when I go to the Dr. If I need more fill. I really don't exercise so I guess I can blame that as part of the stand still. I guess my body is getting use to the amount of calories that it takes in. If there is anyone out here that had lap band about a year ago, please respond and let me know what you think and how you are doing.

PLATEAU BUSTER
Do this for 10 days to break a plateau
Drink 2 quarts of water a day
You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day
beef
pork
chicken
turkey
lamb
fish
eggs
low fat cheese
cottage cheese
plain yogurt or artificially sweetened
beans/legumes
You may also have:
sugar free popsicles
tea or coffee
sugar free soda - if allowed by your doctor
sugar free jello
broths/boullion
crystal light drinks
*If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!
*Keep a food diary and get up to 30 mins of exercise daily
