Hey everyone, I was just wondering are there anybody out here that had surgery 1 year ago and could you give me an update. I had lap band and I am down about 51 or 52 lbs. I had a fill in November and scheduled for one this Wednesday. I have not lost anything since the last Dr. Appt. and I was wondering if I even need a fill. Alot of my protein foods get stuck, Of course any sweets can go down. I will see when I go to the Dr. If I need more fill. I really don't exercise so I guess I can blame that as part of the stand still. I guess my body is getting use to the amount of calories that it takes in. If there is anyone out here that had lap band about a year ago, please respond and let me know what you think and how you are doing. Thanks. Antoinette

"Of course any sweets can go down. ..." Did you answer your own question here?!? I'm not banded and only a few days postop for RNY but I often find that people answer their own questions a lot on this board. Hope other banded folks can offer their experience as that always is the most helpful.
Happy to be in
