Support Meeting Question?

HI ALL, MY HUSBAND WILL BE OUT OF TOWN ON THE NIGHT OF THE MEETING AND I DON'T HAVE FRIENDS OR FAMILY IN NJ. I HAVE A SOON TO BE 3 YEAR OLD WHOM WOULD NEED TO COME WITH ME. SHE IS SUPER DUPER ACTIVE BUT CHARMING. SO MY QUESTION IS, IS IT PERMITTED FOR ME TO BRING HER TO THE MEETING? ANY IDEAS?? AND JUST TO GIVE YOU AN UPDATE ON ME, IM DOING GOOD, I JUST CANT SHAKE THIS BACK PAIN. AND I KEEP HAVING BEAUTIFUL VISIONS OF ME IN THE HOSPITAL LAST WEEK ALL ALONE IN MY BIG , PEACEFUL ROOM, FALLING ASLEEP WHEN I WANT , AND WAKING UP WHEN I WANT. LOOKING AT TV , AND READING MY MAGS. I THOUGHT I WAS IN HEAVEN FOR A MOMENT. IM DOWN 10 LBS, AND FIND IT A STRUGGLE TO EAT, SO I MUST MAKE IT A PRIORITY TO DRINK AND PLAN TO EAT IN ORDER TO STAY HEALTHY. I KNOW ALL THIS WILL CHANGE SOON AND MY APPETITE WILL COME BACK. AND AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED THAT EVERYWHERE YOU GO IS A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT? SOMETIMES I WILL SEE 4 IN A ROW. I NEVR NOTICED THIS BEFORE WLS. MAYBE MY MIND IS PLAYING WITH ME....

Hi! People have brought their kids to meetings so if you feel you really need to come to the meeting (and I think you do), just bring your little girl with you. Just bring lots of things to keep her occupied and if she is disruptive you can take her out of the room. Dr. JB has little kids and I know he will understand. You are having head hunger and you need to really focus on your program and eat only what Judi has told you to. If you feel that you are slipping off the program you need to call Judi or Kathy immediately or just post here. As for the back pain, I don't know what to tell you, I don't have any and didn't have any since surgery....can you take tylenol for the pain? You will get your appetite back but hopefully not until you lose most of your weight, some people say it comes back in 6 months to 18 months, I'm not sure. Anyway, I am a patient of Dr JB and the Bariatric Center and look forward to meeting you next week if you can come. Email me if you need to!
