new to the board

Hello my name is lady and I was banded on 12/19/06 on 12/26/06 I went to see my doctor and lost 23lbs and on 01/05/07 I had my first fill. I have not weighed myself since I lost the 23lbs. and I had my 2nd fill on 2/1/07 I think that I am doing o.k I think that I am losing more inches than weight. I really never had a big appetite and the doctor thinks my weight gain comes from depression which is because of not working which I also agree I live in Newark, NJ and it is so hard to find job here, the temp agencies are a joke anyway just wanted to join the board please pray for me that I may continually do well and find a job soon.

Welcome aboard Lady Will. I notice that you had the same as surgeon as myself - Dr. Nusbaum I am also from Newark, NJ. I am currently 14 months out - feel wonderful - lost 113 lbs. I drop from a size 20/22 pants/jeans to size 6-8. I had the RNY. It is a wonderful journey.
