We met with Dr. JB today!!!!

So Bob and I went to meet with Dr. JB and we were absolutely impressed with him and his staff. They were so informative and answered all of our questions. We did have an issue of not having seen a gastro doc or going to a cardiologist or pulminologist... within 10 minutes of speaking to him.... he made the appointments for us. I told him everyone was right... YOU have got to be GOD!!! he denied it though LOL....... we met with the gastro doc this afternoon and we will see him on mon, tues and wed for tests and results as well as on tuesday going for the rest of our tests... we will meet with Dr. JB on wednesday as soon as we are done with the ( cant remember off the top of my head) sonogram to check for clots ........ He is just so amazing!!!!!! If your looking for a bariatric surgeon... go to him!!!!!!!!!

Hi Christine! Glad the appointment with Dr. JB and staff went well....I am surprised that after spending 6 months at the Barix Center you never went to the cardiologist, pulmonologist and gastro...! That's amazing! It took me almost 2 months to get all of that out of the way! You will need all those clearances before Dr. JB will operate and I think it's great that he is so thorough...he wants NO surprises on the Operating Table. The sonogram for clots is called venous doppler. They do it in the hospital along with the chest xray, bloodwork and EKG. It is a pain getting all these tests done but believe me you will be glad you did it. All of the complications and deaths you read about are due to the fact that these people did not go through the proper tests before they are operated on. The best thing about Dr. JB is that he is so humble, I am so impressed with him and it just keeps getting better and better! Keep in touch!

Dr JB is wonderful! He very involved with his patients and his staff follows the same path. His practice is the best! I am glad to here you on your way to being a loser!!

hiya cissy, yes i did.... shes very happy where she is at... and im glad she is....i do hope all works out for her in the end and she doesnt have the issues bob and i have had as well as other people..... Did everyone hear that the barix clinic closed in Illinois? They basically didnt tell their patients and left them hanging... both pre-op and post-op..... Its really sad..... Im just glad that bob and i no longer have to deal with them..... We are so happy with Dr. JB ..... Thank you all for all of your support and friendships.... You truely are amazing people and a complete inspiration for Bob and I..... Huuugssss .... Christine & Bob

I was so happy I went to Dr. JB. Although the tests take a long time to get scheduled and done with... I am extremely glad for them. I never would have gone to a GI until 50 yrs old. And because of Dr. JB I found out I am in dire need of a colonoscopy as soon as possible. This just may save my life.
