You probably will not feel anything Restriction/Pain until after your first fill I thinks over the next weeks, as is VERY common, you will see your appetite reappear in full force. I ate good size meals, with good foods. Mostly Protein (first Protein) and lots of veggies. Once you get filled, and filled again and again you will start to feel restriction.

I don't know why you are eating already. If you read all the boards most people are on two weeks of liquids and two weeks of mushies. You should really be sure you are eating. The reason you are probably feeling pain is because it is too early to eat. Try switching to more of a liquid type substance.

Sharon-I assume your diet is the same as for RNY...you should be on liquids now. What did Judi tell you? If you are on liquids don't have more than 2 oz. When you are eating food just have 1/4c. at a time. You probably shouldn't be chewing now. Call Judi tomorrow to discuss.

Hi Sharon, I'm sorry you're having problems. Don't forget - measure out your portion ahead of time. You shouldn't be eating more than an ounce or so at a time right now. Lap Band diet is different than Bypass diet for Dr. JB's patients. Please give Judy a call tomorrow so that she can go over food choices and amounts with you, OK? Hugs and , Kathryn
