Hi Everyone, I have posted a few times and have been to a few Toms River meetings, I wanted to go last Friday but couldn't make it. I wanted to know if anyone had some suggestions on how to break through a "slow weight loss" period. I am still losing but very slowly. I am now 8 months out and have been hovering in the 180's for the past 4-6 weeks. I really want to break through and drop some more weight. I do the Leslie Sansone indoor walking tapes a few times a week, I know I could probably increase the exercise but it is difficult finding the time. I was wondering...does anyone find that getting in all the protein requirements speed up the weight loss? I haven't been very good about that and thought that may be a reason for the slow weight loss. I have an appointment with the nutritionist this month to see if she has any suggestions but would appreciate any input you all could give me. Thanks. I hope to make the next meeting as I know there will be a nutritionist at that one, but I may be working. Amy Webber

Are you tracking your caloric intake? If so, what is it? Depending on what it is, sometimes you may need to increase your intake in order to jump start a loss -- your body may think it is starving and has gotten very efficient. If you are not tracking your calories -- try doing so on www.fitday.com. I find it very helpful. Good luck Amy -- Hugs, Nannette
