Happy New Year's Everyone! Just a reminder that next Friday, January 5th is the next regularly scheduled OCWLS Toms River Meeting at Community Medical Center - (Route 37 West and Hospital Drive) , Auditorium A at 7-9pm.

Yes you can.. the word has been previously **post op or seriously pre op**... which has been a little loosely defined but normally means someone that is vested, looking into the surgery, completing the steps.. etc.
Several of our group have come to the Toms River or the Lakewood groups and then had the surgery.. so yes.. you are very welcome : )
The more the merrier... and it is a great source of information, contact and networking.... the more you LEARN about the surgery and its effects, cir****tances and after effects the more successful you will be : )

PS Toms River tends to be more geared toward post op, but you are welcome there : ) The lakewood group has been set up till now to focus on both... but hey I have been out of the loop for a couple months so ...not sure : P
Michelle Brennan Hey Nannette, Happy New Year to you and everyone. I pray I will get there. I have been so extremely tired lately, it's pathetic. I have quit smoking a month on the 29th, which is fantastic! Cold turkey no less.I'm beginning to think the nicotine withdrawel is making me more exausted than usual. I know the Christmas holiday takes a toll, but boy, I am just wiped out. I' ve been having serious nightmares the past three nights, so not sleeping well on top of it all. I am just a mess. No energy or ambition right now. I sure could use a good meeting and some uplifting words, and the good company of you more experienced WLS people.
