Dear joyce I did post here asking if anyone has had a total body lift. But no-one said. So I did not know that you had one only after reading this post. How was it getting that done? I know sometimes it is very important, with skin hanging and infections. Was your ins, willing to pay? Or was it all on you? This is something that I worry about. I've not been done yet. I will be banded on feb. 12th. I will keep you in my thoughts. Wishing you the best of luck. Bridget k. "nobetterwomen" irish term I've been invited to your support night. I know where it is, but I'm in voorhees. I told them I will come and visit after my surgery. Take care, good luck.

Hi Bridget, I did not answer your post because you asked about a TOTAL BODY LIFT which is a relatively new procedure, rather than a LOWER BODY LIFT -- two different procedures. I myself have had a lower body lift, and would be happy to share my experiences with you on that. I have also had a breast lift/augmentation and a brachiaplasty as well as a medial inner thigh procedure. Dr Hurwitz in PA is the only surgeon I know that is doing a TOTAL BODY LIFT and that is very radical and only a small percentage of patients are eligible. Nannette

Dear nannette, you look wonderful, and I would love it if you shared with me. I did not even know their were two different things. You are in new jersey, so I would be interested as to what is done 'in that proceedure, and who did it.?? Was your ins willing to pay, and if so why? Was it considered a medical thing. Thanks so much for your "insight". Bridget k.

Hey Joyce, I sent you a private e-mail, but know that we will keep you in our thoughts. IT will be great if you and Bev can make it to January's Toms River meeting. Hope you feel up to it. As for all the surgeries, the breast and arms were the easiest, at least for me. Hugs, Nannette
